i feel very deep pain in my heart for the poor farmers of Madurai sorrounding are. this year (2013-14) showed as a dry year. in septermber - october season we expect  a number of rainy days. but alas there was not a single day that rained in this season. this area is very badly affected in productivity. Booth the central and state governments are not taking necessary steps to make this area fertile and farmable. if the same condition prevails in future, the land owners have decided to sell out their holding to rear estate business men.
